We are a partner agency with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. The Food Bank of the Southern Tier has agreed that our area is in great need. Starting in January 2016 we have been sponsoring their Mobile Food Truck on the first Tuesday of every month.
Currently, we are also partnering with Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 44 Main St, Binghamton. Trinity has allowed us to have the sign-up and food distribution in their parking lot on Oak Street (and inside during inclement weather, providing a warm, dry area for waiting and distribution). Volunteers from both churches as well as from the Food Bank help with the distribution of food to those in need. Sign-up begins at 10 AM, the truck arrives around 11 AM, and usually, distribution is completed by Noon. Canned Goods, produce, dairy products, cereal, bread, meat, and other grocery items are given out to those in need. Please bring your own boxes and bags to carry the groceries.
